Pastor Tim Wessley

Pastor Tim was called to Clinton Christian Church February 1, 2016 as a part-time transitional pastor. After 6 months each entity (Pastor Tim and Clinton Christian Church) decided that the fit was a good one and he was hired on as full-time pastor August 1, 2016.

Pastor Tim graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 1996 after 7 grueling years of rigorous study and earned his General Studies degree, with the main emphasis in graphic design, computer graphics and computer animation (most people that go to college for 7 years are doctors or engineers. Not Pastor Tim).

His pastoral studies were completed in 2008 from Central Baptist Theological Seminary with an MDiv degree (Masters of Divinity). 

Pastor Tim became a pastor later in life. He has had many life experiences and the rumor is that he has had approximately 150 different jobs in his lifetime (everything from managing bowling centers to running his own not for profit thrift store). These many jobs didn’t make him any smarter but gave him much experience dealing with different situations. 

Pastor Tim was born and raised in Raytown, MO and still resides there with his wife Tina, whom he  has been happily married to since 2002. He has two sons, Monte (wife Krissie, kids Karl, Cortez, Jackson and Emmie) and Matthew (wife Lara and daughter Isabella), and two step sons, Chris (daughter Laina (deceased)) and Jace.  Pastor Tim also resides with his 3 dogs – Pepper, Doodles and Max.

In his spare time Pastor Tim enjoys working on artistic projects for the church, juggling, magic, and a little bit of ventriloquism.

Nursery Attendant, Betty Scott

 

I was born in Clinton and grew up on a small farm outside of Deepwater. I graduated from Lakeland School. I have worked in Clinton for over 44 years. I have been married to Jimmie Scott for 43 years. We have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

Music Director, Debbie Reith

 

Debbie Reith has been attending the Clinton Christian Church for a few years now and joined the church in 2022.  Debbie has sung and played the piano since she could crawl onto the piano bench and has been involved in music her whole life. She is very grateful to the Lord for bringing her to the wonderful church family at Clinton Christian.  She is especially thankful to be involved in the worship service through her music.

Administrative Assistant, Leslie Watts

Leslie Watts began as the Administrative Assistant in July 2024.  She became a member of the church in May 2023. She is the mother of three teenagers, Kennedi, Xavier & Alex. Leslie’s background is in education, and she is a youth leader for the Chi-Rho youth group here at the church. She will be attending Liberty University in the fall of 2024 where she plans to finish her master's degree in educational ministries. She has called Clinton her home since 1996. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming and playing with her dog, Toby.
